Matt Maloney is founder and CEO of Grubhub, the nation’s leading online and mobile food ordering company dedicated to connecting diners with local restaurants. Under Matt’s leadership, Grubhub has grown its active diner network to 14.5 million users who can order directly from more than 80,000 takeout restaurants in over 1,600 cities. He led the company through five rounds of investment funding, a 2013 merger with Seamless, and a 2014 initial public offering. Matt currently serves as an advisory board member for The University of Chicago Booth School of Business Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and a member of ChicagoNEXT, an organization dedicated to driving growth and opportunity in the Chicago business community. He also serves on the board of directors of the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. Matt was named one of America’s most powerful CEOs 40 and under in Forbes Magazine in 2016 and one of the top 50 business people of 2014 by Fortune Magazine. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and two master’s degrees, including an MBA, from the University of Chicago.
President and Chief Financial Officer
Adam DeWitt serves as CFO of Grubhub, a role he held prior to the merger with Seamless North America LLC. In addition to leading the Company’s financial operations, Adam serves as President of Grubhub and oversees customer service, HR and corporate development. During his tenure, Grubhub’s annual revenues have grown from $22 million to $683 million, and he led the company through one of the most successful initial public offerings of 2014. Before joining Grubhub, Adam held financial leadership roles at optionsXpress Holdings, Inc. and JPMorgan Chase. Adam holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Dartmouth College.
Chief Operating Officer
Stan Chia serves as COO of Grubhub. In his role, Stan is responsible for the company’s business strategy and day-to-day operations. He is passionate about building partnerships with Grubhub’s customers through ongoing efforts to bring disruptive experiences and superior value to diners, corporations, restaurants and drivers. Under Stan’s leadership, Grubhub’s network has grown to more than 80,000 restaurants strong in over 1,600 cities across the U.S., and the company sent nearly $4 billion in gross food sales to restaurants in 2017. Stan was the architect behind the rapid expansion of Grubhub Delivery, scaling it from five markets when he joined in early 2015 to over 100 and growing today. Driving further growth, Stan has been instrumental in bringing a valuable roster of national restaurant chains to Grubhub, and he led the successful integration of multiple acquired companies into Grubhub’s core operations. Additionally, he is at the helm of Grubhub’s corporate ordering efforts with Seamless Corporate and Grubhub for Work. Prior to landing at Grubhub, Stan held multiple senior leadership roles at Amazon, Cisco and General Electric, running multibillion dollar P&Ls, as well as strategic supply chain organizations. He is a member of the Georgia Tech School of Industrial Engineering Advisory Board and was named to Crain’s Chicago Business’ 40 Under 40 list in 2016. Stan holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA from Emory University.
Chief Technology Officer
Maria Belousova serves as CTO of Grubhub and has more than 15 years of industry experience. She oversees Grubhub’s technical infrastructure and product vision, from conceptualization and design, to engineering and rollout. Prior to joining Grubhub, Maria served as vice president of technology for Bluefly, one of the largest online fashion destinations, where she managed the technical capabilities and infrastructure of the online marketplace. Before her time at Bluefly, Maria founded and served as CEO of Davai, a cloud-based, scalable social media platform. She also held leadership roles at Bing Mobile and Global Trade Technologies. Maria completed her bachelor’s degree at Middle Tennessee State University.
Chief Product Officer
Sam Hall serves as chief product officer of Grubhub and brings deep experience and leadership to his role executing Grubhub’s platform strategy and expanding its product vision. Prior to joining Grubhub, Sam was chief product and technology officer of ClassPass, leading the company’s engineering, product and design teams. Previously, he spent nearly 10 years at Amazon and served as vice president of consumable customer experience, overseeing worldwide product management, design, data analytics and engineering for cross-category products and programs. Sam also held the position of vice president of mobile at Amazon, where he was responsible for mobile shopping apps for phones and tablets, along with the company’s mobile websites worldwide. Sam has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of the Pacific and an MBA from the University of Washington.
Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary
Margo Drucker serves as senior vice president, general counsel and secretary at Grubhub. Prior to the merger with Grubhub, she served as vice president and general counsel of Seamless North America LLC. Previously, Margo served as senior vice president and senior deputy general counsel at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia Inc., where she oversaw all aspects of the legal department, including licensing, employment, SEC filings, corporate governance, litigation, and operational agreements. Margo holds a bachelor’s degree in history and economics from Brown University and a law degree from New York University School of Law.
Senior Vice President of People
Kelley Berlin serves as senior vice president of people at Grubhub. With more than 20 years of industry experience, she leads all aspects of Grubhub’s people strategy with an emphasis on driving the highest levels of engagement across the organization. Kelley is laser focused on shaping the culture to support Grubhub’s rapid growth by fostering diverse collaboration across the company and creating an authentically fun work environment. Prior to Grubhub, she was senior vice president of HR and global talent initiatives for 14 years at Information Resources Inc. (IRI), the leading provider of big data, predictive analytics and insights for consumer packaged goods companies. She also held leadership roles at The Registry Stores Inc. and Montgomery Ward. Kelley received a bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University and an MBA from Keller Graduate School.
